Welcome to Odette & Marie! We are birth and postpartum doulas and we offer our services both online and one-on-one basis making your pregnancy, delivery and postpartum experience a lot easier and more enjoyable.

By visiting our website (‘Website”) and/ or purchasing something from us, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, customers and/ or contributors of content. The terms “you” and “user” are used throughout the text with reference to all individuals and/or entities accessing this Website for any purpose or reasons.

The information, material and content provided in the pages of the Website may be changed at any time without notice. We may correct errors or inaccuracies and change or update information on this Website at any time without notice, including prices and item/product availability. Changes may be made to the Terms at any time without notice by updating this Website document posting.  You agree to review the Terms in effect at the time of your purchase.  We also reserve the right to cancel orders at our discretion and/or limit purchase quantities.

Our Website is integrated with eshop.mu and payments are processed by MIPS. They provide us with the online e-commerce integration and payment system that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

  1. Your Details

When you decide to buy an item/product on the Website we will ask you to first register with us. You will be asked to enter a contact email address and choose a password. Once you have done this you are responsible for all sessions and transactions taken under these details. Please keep your password safe and do not disclose it to anyone. Change your password immediately if you feel it has been compromised or is at risk of being compromised.

You agree to provide us with accurate personal information, such as your email address, mailing address and other contact details in order to complete your order or contact you as needed. You agree to promptly update your account and information. You authorize us to collect and use this information to contact you in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By accessing the Website, you warrant and represent to us that you are legally entitled to do so and to make use of information made available via the Website.

  1. Products/Items

Certain products or services may be available exclusively online through the Website. These products or services may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange only according to our return policy/cancellation policy.

For the purpose of these Terms, ‘Products’ and ‘Items’ mean any eBook, print book, audiobook, CD, DVD, video/audio records, online workshops, group classes or other related items (birthing equipment for rental) that we offer for sale/rental through our Website.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our Products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor’s display of any color will be accurate.

  1. Digital Content

All digital Products/Items available through the Website are the exclusive property of Odette & Marie and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The download of, and access to any Products/Items is intended only for your personal and non-commercial use. Any other use of Products/Items downloaded or accessed from the Website is strictly prohibited. You may not modify, transmit, publish, participate in the transfer or sale of, reproduce, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, display, or in any way exploit, any of the content of any Products/Items, in whole or in part.

  1. Payment

We accept multiple modes of payment such as Credit Cards, Bank transfers and Juice. All payments by are secured by SSL (Secure Socket Layer).

Payment is processed through MIPS MyPay who does not store card details. MIPS My Pay is a PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliant payment ecosystem.

When you choose an online payment option, your card information is securely processed through the payment gateway of our national bank partner, THE MAURITIUS COMMERCIAL BANK LTD.

Rest assured that your card is safely encrypted as it travels over the Internet.

Important: It is the buyer’s responsibility to verify, under 48 hours, that payment corresponds to what should have been paid, and that payment has well been done. No reclamation can be made to MIPS after 48 hours.

  1. Delivery of Products

Once payment is accepted you will be supplied a download link to the eBook/ Products/Items. Delivery will be made as soon as possible after your payment is accepted. All delivery of eBooks is immediate. If you do not receive digital Products ordered by you within 1 hour of the date on which they were despatched to you (please check your spam folder). If for whatever reason we are unable to supply the ordered eBook to you, we will refund to you the amount paid by you for the Products in question to the original method of payment.

  1. Refunds and Returns- eBooks, audiobooks and other electronic/digital Products supplied via download

Purchased eBook and other digital Products cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged. Please be aware that you lose your right to cancel your contract for these services once you have processed payment for your order.

  1. Modifications to prices

Prices for our Products are subject to change without notice.

We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Website (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.

We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Website
